There are feeding guidelines on the bags, but they are just that, guidelines. Most guidelines on bags of food tend to be too high and your pet’s activity level could effect how much you are feeding him/her. Generally your own pet’s body will tell you how much to feed him/her, such as if they are eating too much they will gain weight or they will have too frequent oversized bowel movements. And if your pet is being fed too little he/she will let you know by whining for food or they will lose weight. Generally you will feed less then the feeding guidelines on the bag.
